Biography

I am currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Peking University. Before joining Peking University in 2022, I was a senior researcher in the Internet Graphics group led by Dr. Xin Tong at Microsoft Research Asia, where I was also a research intern from 2014 to 2018, mentored by Dr. Yang Liu. I got my Ph.D. degree from the Institute for Advanced Study at Tsinghua University in 2018, under the supervision of Dr. Baining Guo. I received my Bachelor's degree from the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University in 2013.

My research interest includes deep learning, geometry processing and computer graphics. My paper on Octree-based Sparse Convolutional Networks is one of the Top-5 Most Cited Papers in ACM Transactions on Graphics from 2016 to 2021. I am awarded the AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Award Honorable Mention by AMiner in recognition of my contributions in the field of Computer Graphics between 2012 and 2021.
